- Nightly Financial Reconciliation
- Perform daily financial audits by reconciling hotel revenue, payments, and expenses.
- Prepare and verify daily transaction reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures.
- Post room charges, taxes, and other revenues (e.g., food & beverage, spa services) to guest accounts.
- Guest Service Excellence
- Handle late check-ins, early check-outs, and any guest inquiries during the night.
- Provide high-quality customer service, addressing guest requests or complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for any guest needs during the night.
- Security and Safety Oversight
- Monitor hotel premises during night hours to ensure guest safety and security.
- Report and document any unusual incidents or emergencies to management.
- Reporting and Handover
- Compile and distribute end-of-day reports for management, including occupancy rates, revenue statistics, and unresolved issues.
- Ensure proper handover to the morning team, including highlighting key events or concerns.
- Compliance and Standards
- Ensure compliance with Dubai’s hospitality regulations and the hotel's policies.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, housekeeping) for night operations.
- Handle cash transactions, prepare deposits, and reconcile cash drawers.
- Assist in training new night staff if required.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for all guests.
