Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We need someone to work two overnight shifts (11pm-7am) and two to three afternoons (3pm -11pm).

Duties

• Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
• Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and balancing of accounts.
• Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Process payments and manage cash handling according to hotel policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency in front desk operations and hotel management systems is preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and familiarity with phone systems for effective communication.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Experience in night audit processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest information.
