Night Houseman

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces during night shifts.
• Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a spotless environment.
• Assist with janitorial duties including trash removal, replenishing supplies, and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Monitor hotel common areas for safety hazards or maintenance issues and report them promptly to the appropriate departments.
• Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, preparing cleaning carts, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the property while adhering to health regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during overnight hours, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Experience

• Prior experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial or janitorial cleaning practices.
• Experience with hotel or hospitality environments that require attention to detail and guest service orientation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
