Night Packing & Sanitation Lead (Bakery)

Zeman’s Bakery is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Night Packing & Sanitation Lead to handle evening bread packing and ensure the bakery is fully cleaned and reset each night.

This role requires someone who works efficiently, takes ownership of their area, and understands that packing and cleaning are equally important. The right person will leave the bakery clean, organized, and ready for the next day — every shift.

This is a hands-on, physical role with clear expectations and structured responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Pack baked bread and products accurately and efficiently
• Prepare orders for the next day according to instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized packing area
• Perform nightly cleaning and sanitation duties
• Deep clean assigned areas on a rotating schedule
• Reset the bakery so the morning crew starts in a clean space
• Follow checklists and work independently without supervision
• Communicate any issues or shortages clearly

Requirements

• Prior experience in packing, warehouse, janitorial, sanitation, or food production preferred
• Comfortable working evenings and nights
• Able to work at a steady pace and stay productive throughout the shift
• Willing to clean every shift — cleaning is a core responsibility
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Reliable attendance — must show up consistently and on time
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs
• Able to follow instructions and checklists
• No issue working independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
