NLP Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled NLP Engineer to join our AI team and drive the development of intelligent, human-like chatbot and voice-based systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in natural language processing (NLP), conversational AI, and large language models (LLMs), with a strong focus on building scalable, real-time chatbot and voice assistant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize NLP-based chatbot systems for text and voice interactions.
• Implement conversational flows, intent classification, and entity recognition.
• Fine-tune and deploy LLMs and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
• Optimize voice latency for real-time conversational experiences in speech-enabled bots.
• Integrate chatbots and voice assistants with APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Analyze chatbot/voice bot performance, user interactions, and continuously improve accuracy and response times.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver robust AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of NLP techniques: tokenization, embeddings, NER, sentiment analysis, intent recognition.
• Hands-on experience with Python NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, Rasa, LangChain, etc.).
• Experience with speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems.
• Proven experience reducing voice latency in conversational systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multilingual chatbots and voice assistants.
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.).
• Familiarity with real-time audio streaming protocols (WebRTC, gRPC, etc.).
