The Graphic Design Assistant is responsible for creating and managing a variety of design projects across digital and physical media to support the Noah’s Ark Waterpark brand. This role involves utilizing graphic design software to create visually compelling assets, managing print production processes, and ensuring consistency with the Noah’s Ark Waterpark Brand guidelines.

Success in this position will result in the timely delivery of accurate, high-quality designs and print jobs that enhance the overall guest experience and support company objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design a variety of media types, including but not limited to digital graphics, print materials, in-park signage, logos, and company templates
• Leverage proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to create visually appealing designs for the Noah’s Ark Waterpark communications and promotions
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill design and print requests accurately and on time.
• Ensure all designs and print jobs adhere to the Noah’s Ark Waterpark Brand Guide for consistency and quality
• Maintain and prioritize an ongoing list of projects to meet deadlines and stay on task
• Maintain composure and a high degree of professionalism when handling and/or responding to negative feedback
• Participate in the development of marketing strategies and communication initiatives
• Coordinate with Marketing Director and other departments to deliver creative solutions aligned with company goals
• Be the primary Contact for addressing phone calls and emails from guests regarding general park questions and concerns
• Assist with the planning and execution of large-scale events in the park, including set up, event management, and post-event duties
• Communicate with consignment and hotel partners and assist with delivery of tickets
• All other duties as assigned by leadership

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
• 1+ year of related experience in graphic design, print production, or similar role is highly desired but not required
• Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus

Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Wisconsin Child Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
• Proficiency in graphic design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Knowledge of large-format printing
• Must possess a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and branding
• Must possess strong attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality work
• Familiarity with brand guidelines and their application in various media formats highly desired
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
• Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, while using a computer
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for long periods of time throughout the day
• Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
• Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or more

Working Conditions:

• This role will be based in an office setting with frequent interaction with other indoor and outdoor park locations
• Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
• Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
