Position – NOC Analyst

Experience – 3 + years

Salary – 5000 AED to 6000 AED

Job Purpose

Provide first-level monitoring and operational support for network and security infrastructure in a 24x7 NOC environment. The role focuses on alert monitoring, incident handling, basic troubleshooting, and timely escalation to ensure network availability and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

NOC Monitoring & Incident Management

• Monitor network and security devices using NMS tools and dashboards
• Handle L1 alerts, incidents, and service requests
• Perform initial troubleshooting and impact analysis
• Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams with complete logs and findings
• Track incidents until resolution and ensure SLA adherence

Network & Security Support

• Provide L1 support for routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
• Assist with FortiGate firewall administration (rule checks, policy validation, monitoring)
• Support Cisco Wireless infrastructure and connectivity issues
• Perform basic checks related to routing and switching

Documentation & Reporting

• Update tickets, incident notes, and handover logs
• Maintain SOPs and basic network documentation
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly operational reports

Skills & Technical Knowledge

Must Have

• NOC L1 support experience (3+ years)
• FortiGate Firewall – basic administration & monitoring
• Cisco Wireless – basic support
• Understanding of routing & switching fundamentals
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLANs
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar)

Certification

• CCNA
