About the Role

We are seeking a skilled NOC Expert & Draughtsman to join our team and manage the end-to-end process of obtaining and managing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) essential for renovation projects. This key role involves close coordination with developers, regulatory bodies such as the Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Dubai Municipality, and internal teams to ensure all projects meet legal and regulatory standards for timely completion.

In addition to managing NOC processes, you will use your draughtsman expertise to create, update, and refine architectural drawings critical to renovation designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage NOC Applications: Lead the submission and follow-up process for NOCs with developers, DDA, Dubai Municipality, and other authorities across all renovation and construction projects.
• Architectural Draughting: Utilise AutoCAD to create, update, and modify detailed architectural and renovation drawings, including layouts, plans, and technical details.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Build and maintain effective relationships with developers, authorities, and internal teams to facilitate smooth approval processes.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all renovation projects adhere to building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and authority requirements.
• Documentation: Prepare, submit, and maintain accurate and complete documentation for NOC applications and project drawings.
• Approval Tracking: Monitor the progress of NOC submissions and proactively follow up with authorities to secure timely approvals.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any objections or issues raised by developers or regulatory bodies during the NOC process.
• Advisory Support: Guide internal teams on NOC requirements, regulatory changes, and draughting standards to maintain compliance throughout project execution.
• Regulation Updates: Keep updated on the latest changes in laws, codes, and procedures related to renovation permits and approvals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential delays or risks in NOC and approval processes and recommend practical solutions to avoid project disruptions.
• Multi-Project Management: Efficiently handle multiple renovation projects, ensuring all NOC and draughting deliverables are met on schedule.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing NOC processes with developers, Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Dubai Municipality, and related authorities for renovation or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong capabilities in architectural draughting and renovation drawing preparation.
• Solid understanding of Dubai’s local building codes, regulatory requirements, and approval workflows for renovation projects.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills for dealing with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and experience managing documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality’s and DDA's online submission portals and application systems.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards related to construction and renovation work.
• Experience in the renovation or construction industry within Dubai.
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects and approvals simultaneously.
• Understanding of additional permits required for renovation projects such as structural modifications and electrical works.
