NOC Engineer

Job Summary:

CareCloud is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for 24/7 monitoring of network infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring high availability and performance of systems and services. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and applications using tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, and PRTG
• Detect, analyze, and respond to alerts, alarms, and incidents in a timely manner
• Perform first-level troubleshooting of network, connectivity, and system issues
• Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier 2/3 support teams or external vendors as per defined procedures
• Document incidents, resolutions, and root cause analysis (RCA) in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy)
• Maintain and update runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation
• Coordinate with ISPs, hardware vendors, and internal teams during outages and maintenance windows
• Conduct routine system and network health checks and generate performance reports
• Assist in change management activities, including scheduled maintenance and upgrades
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and escalation protocols
