JOB DESCRIPTION

The NOC Engineer is responsible for real-time monitoring of network, systems, and applications to ensure high availability and performance across all environments. The role focuses on incident detection, initial troubleshooting, and timely escalation to minimize service disruptions. The engineer will work closely with operations and support teams to maintain system stability and ensure seamless service delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor network, systems, and applications in real-time using monitoring tools
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs
• Escalate complex or critical issues to higher support levels
• Perform initial root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders
• Follow ITSM processes including Incident and Problem Management
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of incidents and resolutions
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution
• Support system health checks and routine monitoring activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring and response processes

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols
• Experience with monitoring tools and alert management
• Good understanding of escalation and incident management processes
• Basic leadership or team coordination skills are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

POTENTIAL BACKGROUND

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in NOC / Network Operations
• Experience working in 24/7 monitoring environments
• Exposure to enterprise network infrastructure
• Experience handling high-priority incidents and escalations

CERTIFICATIONS (MANDATORY/PREFERRED)

• Cisco CCNP – Preferred
• CompTIA Network+ – Preferred

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

• Arabic or Non-Arabic Speaker
