NOC Engineer

Responsibilities:

Support in-house projects in securing NOCs from other authorities

Ensure Pipeline corridor protection systems such as fences, berms, warning signs, crash protection, road and desert crossings are adequately included in design NOC

Ensure that all NOCs are appropriately accepted without compromising Health Safety and Environment (HSE) values and policies, the integrity of Pipelines and the safety of personnel and the general public in the vicinity of the work being conducted.

Responsible for setting the appropriate No Objection Certificate (NOC) conditions to ensure overall safety while Contractor is working within the NOC Zone.

Design and recommend Pipeline corridor protection systems such as fences, berms, warning signs, crash protection and road and desert crossings during the NOC process.

Confirm Pipeline slab protection is used where the Pipeline is not fenced and where Third-Party activities have the potential to carry the risk of Pipeline damage

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Job-Related Competencies

Educational Qualifications :

Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience Profile:

Minimum of 10 years of Gas Plant or Pipeline experience.

Understanding of Gas Pipeline design, controls, maintenance and operations, and mitigation measures associated with Pipeline risk

Thorough knowledge of applicable Pipeline Engineering Standards.

Knowledge of applicable engineering computer applications e.g. AUTOCAD and GIS.

UAE driving license is essential, desert driving skills an advantage

Local knowledge of Dubai Emirate required.

Good working knowledge of local authority methods and regulations necessary.

Information Security:
