NOC Engineer – Network Monitoring

We are looking for a NOC Engineer – Network Monitoring to support 24/7 network surveillance and ensure optimal performance of network infrastructure in a high-availability environment.


The NOC Server, OS & Storage Monitoring Engineer is responsible for maintaining continuous visibility into the server infrastructure, operating systems, and storage environments. The role involves proactive monitoring, fault detection, capacity analysis, and technical resolution to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Windows and Linux servers, operating system performance, and storage systems (NAS/SAN) continuously
  • Utilise monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds to track server health, resource consumption, and availability
  • Detect and analyze performance anomalies, capacity bottlenecks, and hardware faults on monitored systems
  • Investigate and resolve OS-level issues including process failures, memory leaks, and disk space alerts
  • Coordinate with storage teams to monitor NAS/SAN performance, I/O metrics, and replication health
  • Ensure complete and documented shift handover with up-to-date system status and open incidents
  • Escalate unresolved critical issues to the Project Manager with full diagnostic context
  • Maintain detailed incident records and contribute to root cause analysis documentation
  • Evaluate and review daily task performance and share findings before shift end
  • Support patch monitoring and scheduled maintenance windows for server infrastructure


Certifications:


  • MCSA – Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (mandatory)
  • RHCSA – Red Hat Certified System Administrator
