NOC Engineer – Road & Infrastructure Projects

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced NOC Engineer with strong UAE authority coordination experience in road and infrastructure projects.

Job Summary

The NOC Engineer will be responsible for managing all authority approvals, permits, and utility coordination related to road construction and infrastructure projects in Sharjah. The ideal candidate must have proven experience dealing with Sharjah authorities and handling NOCs for excavation, road cutting, traffic diversion, and utility works.

This is a critical role directly impacting project timelines and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and manage No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with:
• Sharjah Municipality
• SEWA
• Sharjah RTA
• Civil Defense
• Police (Traffic Department)
• Etisalat / DU
• Prepare and submit:
• Excavation permits
• Road cutting permits
• Traffic diversion plans and approvals
• Utility diversion and protection drawings
• Follow up on authority comments and ensure timely resubmission.
• Maintain NOC logs, submission trackers, and approval records.
• Coordinate between site team, consultant, and authorities.
• Attend meetings with government authorities when required.
• Ensure compliance with Sharjah road and infrastructure standards.
• Support project team to prevent authority-related delays.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in road and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Sharjah Municipality and SEWA approvals.
• Experience in handling:
• Utility diversions (water, sewer, storm, power, telecom)
• Traffic management approvals
• Excavation and road cutting permits
• Good knowledge of UAE infrastructure standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines.
