Now Hiring: Overnight Caregiver at Bethany Place Assisted Living

Bethany Place is seeking a compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregiver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful work, enjoys a calm overnight environment, and wants to be part of a supportive care team.

Our caregivers play an important role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. In this position, two of the five weekly shifts will include a stronger focus on housekeeping duties, helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Schedule
Tuesday through Saturday - 11:00pm - 7:30am

Pay
$22 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense scheduled and PRN medications
• Cue residents for meals and medications
• Take and document vital signs
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when needed (Most residents are highly independent)
• Maintain clean and orderly common areas
• Ensure resident safety and accountability throughout the shift
• Complete light housekeeping and other support tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Active HCA or CNA license (or valid grandfathered NAR), or willingness to begin the HCA certification process with company support
• CPR/First Aid certification (assistance available if needed)
• Food Handler’s Permit within 14 days of hire
• Willingness to complete company training within 60 days in:
• Mental Health Specialty Training
• Dementia Specialty Training
• Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a WA State DSHS background check
• Professional attitude and commitment to high-quality care

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Regularly climbing and descending stairs
• Pushing and maneuvering carts, equipment, and furniture
• Performing cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products

This policy applies consistently to all staff and is a condition of employment.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
