Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues in development and production.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and promises.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of caching tools (Redis), message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of API security, JWT, OAuth, and authentication mechanisms.
