Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Integrate front-end elements developed by your teammates into the application.
• Ensure the application is optimized for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and front-end developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Implement security and data protection protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues on the backend.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js and Express.js (or similar frameworks)
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API design best practices.
• Solid understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Working knowledge of containerization and deployment tools (e.g., Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
