Summary

As a Transport Driver at Daniyal Transit, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and timely transportation for our passengers. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate two types of vehicles including WC accessible vans and sedans.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers during transit.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and report any issues promptly.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking safely, including those with special needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on duty.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle inspections, and passenger counts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years of age.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record with at least 3 years of driving record in the state of California.
• A criminal background check will be conducted through Occuscreen LLC.
• Applicants must pass a clean background check to be eligible for employment.
• A pre-employment drug test is required.
• Daniyal Transit will cover the cost of the drug test—no payment is required from the applicant.
• A negative drug test result is mandatory for employment eligibility.
• Upon successful completion of the background and drug tests, applicants will be asked to obtain a DOT Medical Examination Certificate from a licensed physician.
• This certificate must confirm that the applicant is physically qualified to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
• We are seeking candidates who are dedicated, safety-conscious, and passionate about driving.
• Must have basic proficiency in using a smartphone.
• Ability to operate company mobile applications (for routing, compliance, and inspections) is required.
