Transport Driver

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations. If you have a passion for driving and providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Operate various types of vehicles including vans and sedans
- Safely drive passengers to designated locations following a set schedule or route
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities
- Expect all drivers to be punctual, safe and professional at all times

Qualifications:

- Current valid driver’s license
- MUST BE ATLEAST 23 YEARS OLD
- MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM WORK OFFICE
- NEMT experience a plus but not required (we will train you)
- Must have clean motor vehicle record for 3 years (no suspensions within the past 3 years) AND CLEAN BACKGROUND (PAST 7 YEARS)
- Willing to undergo and pass background and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and colleagues
- Familiarity with routes and locations in the area of operation
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures
- Responsible for keeping the vehicle clean and sanitized
- Expect all drivers to be punctual, safe and professional at all times

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Customer service experience
- Commercial driving experience
