Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver (Independent Contractor)

Hiring Non Emergency Independent Contract Medical Drivers in Lubbock, TX .

Must be willing to use your own vehicle. Wheelchair van is a PLUS.

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid Driver’s License

- Must be able to pass State/National background checks

- Must be able to pass a drug test

- CPR & First Aid Certifications

- MVR

- Defensive driving

- Wheelchair securement experience preferred*

- Pass basic training

**Costs associated with certifications and trainings are the Driver's responsibility**

-Must be 23 or older (insurance requirement)

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a transport vehicle to transport passengers or goods to their destinations

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Communicate effectively with passengers, clients, or dispatchers to ensure a smooth transportation experience

- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning

Experience:

- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and team members
