Non Emergency Transportation Dispatcher

Position Summary:The Marley Transportation Dispatcher plays a vital role in ensuring timely, safe, and efficient transportation of clients to and from medical appointments and facilities. This position is hybrid in nature — dispatching duties begin remotely or on-site when the first driver reports for their shift, with additional administrative or remote tasks as needed to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch drivers for non-emergency medical transportation services according to daily trip schedules and client needs.
• Monitor drivers’ routes, locations, and timeliness to ensure on-time performance and compliance with safety protocols.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers while they are on the road, addressing questions, delays, or emergencies in real time.
• Communicate with clients, facilities, and families regarding trip statuses, ETAs, or schedule changes.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, dispatch records, and related paperwork.
• Collaborate with the Operations to optimize daily schedules and resolve routing conflicts.
• Assist with administrative tasks as assigned, which may be completed remotely if appropriate.
• Respond promptly and professionally to urgent situations, reassigning trips as needed to maintain service levels.
• Ensure all drivers follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or dispatching experience preferred.
• Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or transportation logistics is strongly desired, ideally in a medical or paratransit setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, GPS tracking systems).
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions to solve real-time scheduling challenges.
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service to clients and drivers alike.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
