Faculty are expected to act as mentors, coaches, facilitators, and role models, guiding undergraduate learners through the Sustainability and Circular Economy course delivered fully online. The role focuses on developing learners' understanding of sustainable development principles, responsible consumption, and circular economic models, linking theory to real-world practices that align with the UAE Vision 2031 and global sustainability goals (SDGs). Faculty members will encourage systems thinking, innovation, and ethical responsibility through interactive learning experiences that emphasize sustainability as a mindset and lifestyle.

Non-resident faculty appointments are full-time remote positions that allow candidates to facilitate learning, mentor learners, and contribute to academic service while residing outside the UAE. Faculty will fully participate in HBMSU's smart learning ecosystem, collaborating virtually with colleagues, engaging in continuous professional development, and contributing to the School of e-Education's mission of preparing sustainability-conscious and innovation-driven global citizens.

As integral members of HBMSU's academic community, non-resident faculty support the University's mission to transform education through smart technologies, learner-centered pedagogy, and sustainability-driven innovation. They are encouraged to engage virtually in university events, sustainability forums, and professional development activities, fostering collaboration and community within HBMSU's vibrant global network. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in sustainability education, environmental management, or circular economy practices, along with familiarity with smart learning methodologies and online facilitation. A strong commitment to HBMSU's vision of shaping future leaders for a sustainable and resilient world is essential.
