Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced North Indian Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing authentic North Indian cuisine, ensuring excellent taste, quality, and presentation while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide variety of North Indian dishes, including curries, kebabs, tandoori items, biryanis, naan, roti, paratha, and regional specialties.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Prepare and marinate ingredients according to established recipes.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control.
  • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a North Indian Cook or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of North Indian cooking techniques, spices, and recipes.
  • Experience with tandoor operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, catering services, or cloud kitchens.
  • Knowledge of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian North Indian cuisine.
