About The Role

We are looking for a Resident Engineer (RE) specializing in analytics platforms to provide on-site and remote technical support for customer analytics solutions. The Resident Engineer will play a key role in system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance monitoring, ensuring smooth operation of advanced analytics platforms.

This role requires a hands-on technical expert with strong knowledge of network analytics products, Linux/Unix systems, and IP networking. The position combines operational support, solution integration, and issue resolution, working closely with internal and customer teams in a dynamic telecom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Maintenance

• Provide daily Resident Engineer (RE) support for analytics systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor alarms and system health, perform routine maintenance, and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
• Handle trouble tickets, perform root cause analysis, and replicate issues in the lab when necessary.
• Support deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes of analytics products.
• Monitor and maintain software licenses across analytics solutions.
  
  

Integration & Solution Enhancement

• Assist with lab planning and testing of new software, hardware, and features.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during software release updates or interoperability testing with third-party tools.
• Collect logs, traces, and other diagnostic data to facilitate root cause analysis.
• Work alongside subject matter experts to address software or documentation issues.
  
  

Documentation & Procedures

• Review and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for testing, upgrades, and patch installations.
• Support acceptance test procedures (ATPs) and software update validation.
• Document findings, updates, and changes, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Offer feedback on documentation and MOP improvements for production rollout readiness.
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with network operations, engineering, and customer teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Participate in project meetings and review calls related to system care and troubleshooting.
• Support coordination across different Resident Engineers, lab environments, and customer testing teams.
  
  

Mandatory Requirements

⚠️ The following must be clearly listed on your CV to be considered:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or Technical Support Engineer in the telecommunications or analytics field;
• Hands-on experience with analytics platforms such as Traffica, FNI, or NA-x;
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting (sh/csh/bash);
• Familiarity with IP networking, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls;
• Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark, Tshark, or Tcpdump;
• Strong command of English (C1 level);
• Ability to perform lab-based troubleshooting and patch testing;
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.

• Prior experience in telecom analytics or network monitoring systems;
• Familiarity with software release management and patch verification;
• Knowledge of hardware testing and system integration processes;
• Exposure to DevOps tools or automation frameworks in telecom environments;
