Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, periodontics, root canals and cosmetic dentistry treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order following infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, answering phones as a dental receptionist, and maintaining organized medical records
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures
- Integrity, kindness and optimism in your work
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft is a plus
- Skilled in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, aseptic technique, and medical coding
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques such as chairside assisting, vital signs measurement, and medical documentation
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members
- Certification in radiography (X-ray) is required

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
