We are willing to train the right candidate

Your day-to-day:

• Administer medications accurately following prescribed orders while adhering to the 8 rights to medication administration, HIPAA regulations, and document using EMAR system.
• Count controlled substances with another team member each time the responsibility of medication administration changes.
• Reports all resident concerns made while assisting the resident with the medication to the Wellness Director.
• Reorder medications according to company policy to ensure the resident does not run out of medication
• Restocks the medication cart after all medications passes.
• Ensure a safe environment by recognizing potential safety hazards and following proper protocols for infection control and patient safety
• Assist residents with dressing and grooming
• Escort residents to and from activities and meals
• Communicate health status concerns
• Help with meal deliveries
• Assist with laundry services
• Provide trash removal from resident rooms
• Assist with activities
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

The Must Haves:

· High School diploma/GED and related experience and/or training

· Minimum 6 mo. experience passing medications in an Assisted Living

· Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

· Ability to read, write and speak English

· Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs
