Position Overview
- Employment Type: Per Diem
- Schedule: Minimum requirement of 4 shifts per month; 2 pm-10 pm, flexible swing shift schedule (variable days)
- Call: None
- Patient Volume: Varies
- Locations: Northern Nevada Medical Center, Sierra Medical Center
- Team: Work alongside a cohesive group of Hospitalists who support one another and communicate well
- Technology: Cerner EMR
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supervising physician
- Perform clinical assessments within the scope of licensure
- Perform initial history and physical exams
- Document care using Cerner
- Care planning and reassessment
- Patient and family education and counseling regarding diagnostics, treatment plan, and medications
- Complete billing and query responses in a timely manner
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive per diem compensation at $80 per hour + comprehensive malpractice coverage
- No State Income Tax
Qualifications
- Board Certified APRN or PA-C
- REQUIRED: Minimum of one year experience out of training — new graduates will not be accepted for this opportunity
- Active or eligible Nevada medical license
- While all candidates will be considered, Nevada candidates are preferred
- This position is not eligible for J-1 or H1-B visa sponsorship
