Job Description:

• Full-time
• 4-10-hour shifts or 5-8- hour shifts Mon-Fri 7a-5:30p
• No call
• 90% Inpatient
• 10% Outpatient

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Population- Highly Complex Transplant population
• Manage liver transplant inpatient service
• Collaborate with surgeons, fellows, APP's, pharmacists and other multi-disciplinary team members to manage inpatient care
• Consultations and discharges on both Organ Transplant Unit (OTU) and Transplant ICU (TICU)
• Additionally see patients in Transplant Outpatient (TOPA) and clinic (SOPA)

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required
• Must be an ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA
• EXPERIENCED APP with transplant, Nephrology, Hepatology and ICU background

The only National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center in the state, the Indiana University Health Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, has its home at IU Health University Hospital.

IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds. IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
