NP-PA-Hospitalist-PCU- Bloomington, IN

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fun, diverse, empowering, Hospitalist team! This position will be located in Bloomington, IN at our IU Health Medical Group Bloomington Hospital.

Job Description:

• Full Time, Days and Nights
• 7 days on/7 days off: 9am to 9pm
• 100% Inpatient
• No Call

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing hospital admissions, in collaboration with a Physician, along with responsibilities in the PCU
• APP will also provide cross coverage on PCU patients

Patient Population:

• Adult patients in the inpatient, progressive care setting coming from the South Region in and around Bloomington including college student population and those from more rural areas.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• ACNP or PA certifications required.
• Experience preferred but new grads considered
• Must have strong desire to work in the Progressive Care Unit and have multiple years' experience as Hospitalist APP or ICU APP
• New Grads must have significant training time in either PCU or ICU

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
