UNM Hospitals Sandia Vista Clinic is looking for a motivated clinician who is interested in joining our team to help care for patients in our local community. The newly built clinic is located in Southwest Albuquerque. The Family Medicine practice focuses on seeing patients of all ages with acute and chronic medical and behavioral health related issues. Working together as a multi-disciplinary team that consists of MDs, Residents, PAs, NPs, Psychologists, Clinical Pharmacists, Care Managers, Social Workers, and Community Health Workers allows us to provide an overall comprehensive care approach. With our Patient Centered Medicine Home (PCMH) clinic model, providers collaborate with families to identify and satisfy the full range of patient needs and preferences. Providers work semi-autonomously with collegial support and resources that are available. Position Summary:
Function in a primary care setting in the role of practitioner, mentor, consultant, educator, researcher and manager. Establish goals and priorities in accordance with patient and staff needs and organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care - Women's Specialties: Ages of patients served restricted to adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Family Practice Clinic: Ages of patients served may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Senior Health Clinic: Ages of patients served restricted to geriatric age groups.
Experience:
Essential:
No minimum experience required
Nonessential:
Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo Specialization in applicable area
Physical Conditions:
Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
