Key Focus:
The Manager of the Project Management Team is a full-time position within the Marketing Department at NRG Systems. This position is responsible for leading a team that manages the successful implementation of complex projects in the global solar and wind industries. From project initiation to completion, this role ensures that all project activities align with the company’s strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

This senior-level position requires a broad understanding of NRG Systems' business and deep expertise in project management within the renewable energy sector. The Manager is expected to contribute to the company’s strategic direction, bringing leadership and experience in cross-functional collaboration across all departments. This role demands high visibility both within the organization and with external stakeholders.

The successful Manager of the Project Management Team advocates operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This role is highly cross-functional, working closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and other Marketing teams. A blend of technical and business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential for success in this position.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and aims to achieve departmental goals that are in accordance with the company's strategic plan and core values.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the Project Management Team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Oversee all major project phases, including Order Acceptance (pre-sale), Execution (post-sale), Fulfillment (documentation, training, installation), and After-action (process improvement).

Collaborate with Sales during RFP bidding stages to define project scope and meet all stakeholder expectations.

Drive the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project quality and timeliness.

Manage resource allocation to ensure project teams are equipped to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting project status, team performance, and key metrics.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; a master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy industry, with at least three years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale, complex projects successfully.

Strong leadership and team management skills, demonstrating the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the solar and wind industries, particularly with Solar Resource Monitoring (SRM) products and services.

Familiarity with project management software and tools like MS Project, Trello, Salesforce, or equivalent.

Experience managing international projects and working with diverse teams across different time zones.

PMP Certification and demonstrated capabilities with increasing responsibilities in former roles.

Technical aptitude and experience.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Work performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Primary duties performed in a seated position.

Willingness to travel up to 20% annually.

Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 annualized
