About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced NSO Engineer / Administrator to implement, configure, and maintain Cisco NSO solutions for network automation and service orchestration. The role involves working closely with network, DevOps, and IT teams to automate service provisioning, monitor performance, and ensure high availability across multi-vendor network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco NSO platforms.
- Create and manage service models using YANG/NETCONF.
- Automate network provisioning and workflows for routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Integrate NSO with OSS/BSS, ITSM, and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot NSO services, device connectivity, and automation issues.
- Collaborate with network and DevOps teams for seamless service delivery.
- Maintain documentation of NSO architecture, services, and operational procedures.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Cisco NSO and network service modeling.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs.
- Experience with YANG modeling, NETCONF/RESTCONF, Python scripting.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and virtualization.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills for network automation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multi-vendor networks and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- CI/CD tools knowledge (Jenkins, Git, Ansible Tower).
- Relevant certifications: Cisco DevNet, CCNP, CCIE.
