Summary

Under the general supervision of department management and the direct supervision of a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, performs nuclear medicine imaging and non-imaging procedures for therapeutic, diagnostic and tracer studies. Assists Radiologist and other specialists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures as needed. Provides patient care and education. Maintains records, completes patient documentation, following department processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Required
o Enrollment in accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
o Completed one year class room/clinical training.
o Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification.
