Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to join our Imaging team in Pflugerville, Texas. If you’re a certified Nuclear Medicine or PET Technologist who loves patient care, cutting-edge technology, and flexible scheduling, this opportunity is for you!

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you’ll perform nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and theragnostic imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to help diagnose and treat disease. You’ll work with advanced imaging systems and be part of one of Texas’s largest and most respected healthcare systems.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT and theragnostic imaging, according to protocols and physician orders.

  • Ensure quality images and maintain radiation safety standards in compliance with ACR and RAM guidelines.

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and explain exams clearly to patients to ensure comfort and safety.

  • Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and imaging team members to provide timely and accurate patient care.

  • Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Certification:

    • Certified by the ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT)

  • Licensure:

    • Must hold a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – Nuclear Medicine

  • BLS Certification required


  • Ability to work independently and maintain excellent patient interaction skills
