Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Doctor to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting nuclear imaging studies, ensuring accurate diagnosis, patient safety, and high-quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures (SPECT, PET-CT, Nuclear cardiology, etc.).

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely as per protocol.

• Review patient history, clinical indicators, and ensure correct imaging technique.

• Generate accurate and timely reports for referring physicians.

• Ensure radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and equipment.

• Collaborate with radiologists, technicians, and other departments for seamless workflow.

• Participate in quality control, audits, and equipment calibration activities.

• Maintain proper documentation, patient records, and statutory compliance.

• Provide patient counselling and explain procedures when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized institution.

• Valid registration with the Medical Council.

• Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging protocols and radiopharmaceuticals.

• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

• Good communication and patient-handling skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
