Headquarters United States Air Force, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration, SAF/SQ NUDET SME & DSCPA NUDET Analyst Support
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Principal Assistant to the SecAF for Space Staff in the areas of planning (data collection, plans assessment, analysis and study reviews, acquisition program support, and document preparation) and program assessment (budget database, POM/IPOM, assessment and documentation preparation) within National Security Space (specifically with respect to NUDET).

Lead the Defense Space Council Program Assessment (DSCPA) NUDET Integrated Product Team (IPT), working with numerous US Gov’t agencies and organizations.

Lead the Defense Space Council Plan (DSCP) NUDET Team.

Author and coordinate Issue Papers for NUDET topics.

Maintain situational awareness of all NUDET topics, working with Government agencies and other SAF/SQ Divisions.

Provide NUDET expertise to SAF/SQ in the areas of policy, strategy, requirements, capabilities, programs, acquisition, operations, role within the NUDET enterprise (terrestrial, air, space).

Perform as SME and content lead for SAF/SQ NUDET architecture development and maintenance, and as SAF/SQ contributor to NUDET architectures developed by other DSC member organizations.

Maintain insight of NUDET programs, associated ground infrastructures, and related command and control systems in order to monitor the implementation and assess status of NUDET architectures.

Maintain awareness of NUDET community developments and changes in context, and periodically assess the impacts to and the validity of the NUDET architectures.
- Maintain up to date, accurate and relevant SAF/SQ NUDET architectures and their associated metrics.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical field. Directly-related experience can be substituted for degree requirements.
