Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The RN will coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Essential Skills
-
Current RN license in VA.
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

BLS/ACLS certification.
-
2 years of clinical experience within Labor and Delivery (L&D).

Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Experience in NICU.
-
Must have a VA License.

Certification in NRP and AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate.
Work Environment
The work environment includes 15 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery rooms, 3 OB triage rooms, 3 Operating Rooms, 4 bay Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, and 4 antepartum rooms. It features a Level III NICU. The documentation system used is Meditech, CPN. Scheduling requirements include shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am. The floating policy applies within the women’s and children’s service line. Patient experience requirements encompass labor and delivery, circulating C-sections, and managing IV drips such as magnesium for high acuity cases.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56.16 - $56.16/hr.
