Nurse

Ensure the health and well-being of children at Orange Seeds Nursery by providing expert medical care, conducting regular health assessments, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, creating a secure and nurturing atmosphere for optimal child development and learning.

Health and Safety Management

· Conduct regular risk assessments in common areas, classrooms, and restrooms to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

· Ensure a safe and secure environment for children by implementing necessary safety measures.

· Monitor and adjust nursery AC temperatures to recommended levels for the well-being of children.

Medical Care and Administration

· Check and maintain the temperature of medicines, repackaging them as needed and maintaining daily checklists.

· Administer medicines to children and staff as required, following proper protocols.

· Receive children from parents in the morning and facilitate their departure in the afternoon.

· Gather information from parents and relay relevant details to the concerned teachers.

Communicate with parents about any medical interventions and consultation results.

Operational Support

· Conduct fire drills, arrange monthly doctor visits and communicate those results to parents.

· Prepare and distribute disinfection solutions, ensuring a sterile environment, and managing sanitization of toys and other areas.

· Cross-check and distribute housekeeping items in classrooms and common areas.

· Conduct regular monthly checks to ensure accurate housekeeping inventory levels and prevent stockouts.

· Efficiently manage the ordering process, ensuring the timely replenishment of stock to maintain a well-stocked environment.

Check the fridge for spoiled or expired food items, discarding as needed.

Maintenance and Documentation

· Identify and report maintenance needs, assisting in basic maintenance activities.

· Maintain up-to-date checklists and files, assisting in DHA and Bocker inspections.

· Cover reception and classrooms during staff absences, providing support where required.

Update and maintain the Children’s registration and medical files, logging students in the "Kinderpedia" application.

Educational qualifications (Minimum educational background required to execute the role)

· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a relevant healthcare field.

• Relevant experience (Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in Paediatric nursing or a related field.
• Experience in an Educational or Childcare setting is preferable.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
