Job Title: Nurse (Home Visits)

Location: UMC Mall - New Cairo

Job Summary

The Home Visit Nurse is responsible for performing home visits to collect laboratory specimens—including blood, urine, and other samples—from patients in their homes or residential settings. The nurse ensures all specimens are collected, labeled, and transported in accordance with established protocols to maintain specimen integrity and ensure accurate diagnostic results. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and compassion when interacting with patients and their families

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and label specimens (e.g., blood, urine, swabs) for laboratory testing ( Home Visits ).
• Experience or basic knowledge of hanging IV drips and assisting in medical procedures.
• Label, document, and package specimens accurately according to laboratory and regulatory requirements .
• Perform patient triage, take vital signs, and record medical histories accurately.
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock of medical supplies.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (students are also accepted)
• Valid or pending license to practice from the Nursing Syndicate
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
  
  

Working Conditions

• Outpatient / Home Visits .
