Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:

participate in the design, implementation, evaluation, and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHRs) and other clinical systems
-
collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure IT solutions enhance patient care and align with regulatory standards
-
provide ongoing support for Health Information System (HIS), ensuring they meet the needs of nursing staff and enhance patient care quality
-
ensure meaningful use of clinical data to support division -wide goals and reporting
-
develop, implement, and evaluate programs that promote physical, mental and emotional well-being of nursing and healthcare staff, and act of point of contact for staff seeking wellness resources or support
-
champion eco-friendly clinical practices and educate nursing staff about the intersection of health and environmental issues, including climate change
-
partners with simulation educators and EHR teams to train nursing staff on system changes, clinical pathways, and safety protocols
-
conduct orientation programs and training programs for staff, prepare for and conduct audits, and conduct various trainings for internal/external customers
-
develop and maintain relationships with nursing alumni and coordinate alumni events, to encourage alumni participation in mentorship programs, continuing education, and wellness initiatives.
Requirements
You should have:
-
a BScN or Post-RN BScN degree from an accredited school, preferably with a MScN or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines and a valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council

at least ten years of relevant experience, of which five years of experience should be at a nursing management level (including at least two years as Head Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist or equivalent)

certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, PALS and NRP Instructor

deep understanding of nursing practice, clinical workflows, patient care delivery, and the ability to bridge clinical practice with IT solutions
-
excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
-
ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
-
ability to analyze large datasets, and familiarity with dashboards, KPIs, nursing-sensitive indicators, and quality metrics, for clinical decision support and decision making
-
proficiency in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office
-
willingness to work during extended hours or weekends, if needed.
