Day Shift, Four days, 10 hour shifts (Tuesday-Friday)

Our mental health facility in Atlanta, Georgia is located on a secluded, 55-acre campus, less than three miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our continuum of services includes a 24/7 free, confidential psychiatric assessment by Georgia behavioral health professionals. Anchor Hospital is seeking seasoned Nurse Managers. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the In-patient units. The Nurse Manager will adjust staffing as necessary for the evening, night and weekend shifts. The Nurse Manager will oversee all unit activities including, but not limited to, admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion, relieving for break or meals. The Nurse Manager manages the Mental Health Associates, Registered Nurses and LPN’s working on the unit as part of the nursing team and will coordinate all medical codes, whether real or mock, and ensure they are carried out appropriately and safely.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Requires 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefers at least 2 years in psychiatric nursing.
    At least 2 years in a leadership role or relative leadership demonstrated.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
