Position: RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during surgery.

• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure successful operations.

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient safety.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

• Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and functioning properly.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about procedures.

• Contribute to achieving departmental targets and goals.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

• Assist in the preparation and clean-up of the operating room.

• Utilize data to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

• Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for personal growth.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Operating Room Nurse.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Understanding of hospital policies and procedures for patient safety.

• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and respond quickly to emergencies.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with surgical teams and educating patients.

• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records.

• Capable of sterilizing and ensuring proper functioning of surgical equipment.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve departmental targets and contribute to team goals.
