The Nurse Manager strives to spend at least 50% of his/her time on the unit and is visible, present and available to staff to provide necessary mentoring, teaching and support. Nurse Managers develops and maintains collegial relationships with physicians, clinical educators and other interdisciplinary team members. Provides leadership and creates a strategy to achieve the best outcomes including but not limited to quality, financial vitality, employee and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, Nursing required.
- Experience: Two years clinical RN experience - acute care setting.

Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Three years clinical RN experience in an acute care setting. Board certification in area of practice, preferred.

Preferred Requirements: Master's Degree. Two years demonstrated leadership experience, preferred.

What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise nursing staff; set schedules and assignments
Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for patients
Oversee daily unit operations, staffing levels, and patient flow
Promote patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
Support staff development through coaching, evaluations, and education
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care delivery
Monitor quality metrics and drive performance improvement initiatives
Manage budgets, supplies, and equipment for the unit
Address patient/family concerns and support compassionate care
Respond to clinical or operational issues and emergencies
