Nurse Practitioner (NP) – EMC Evaluations & Pain Management
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary accident and rehabilitation team. The NP will be responsible for performing EMC evaluations, managing pain management patients, and assisting with both in-office and telemedicine services for multiple clinic locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform EMC (Emergency Medical Condition) evaluations for personal injury and accident patients in compliance with Florida PIP guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and review of diagnostic imaging/reports.
- Provide telemedicine EMC evaluations for affiliated clinic locations when applicable.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for pain management patients.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic studies including MRI, X-ray, CT, and EMG reports.
- Perform or assist with pain management procedures, including:
- Trigger point injections
- Joint injections
- Soft tissue injections
- Ultrasound-guided procedures (if trained/certified)
- Manage patients both with and without ultrasound guidance depending on procedure type and provider credentials.
- Document accurate and compliant SOAP notes, evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up reports.
- Coordinate care with chiropractors, therapists, attorneys, imaging centers, and specialists.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, documentation standards, and clinic protocols.
- Educate patients regarding diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and home care recommendations.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Experience in personal injury, orthopedics, rehabilitation, or Pain Management preferred.
- Experience performing EMC evaluations preferred.
- Comfortable with telemedicine platforms and remote patient evaluations.
- Experience with injection therapy and pain management procedures preferred.
- Ultrasound-guided injection experience preferred but not required.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Florida PIP and accident-related documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with chiropractic and rehabilitation workflows.
- Experience using EMR systems such as ChiroTouch.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
