Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing integrative and preventive medicine practice focused on metabolic health optimization. In this role, you will play a key part in conducting comprehensive physical assessments, drawing blood for metabolic panels, interpreting lab data, and writing individualized treatment scripts to support patient health goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough physical examinations and metabolic-focused assessments
• Draw blood and handle specimens for metabolic and hormone panel testing
• Interpret lab results using Metabolic Code® or similar analysis frameworks
• Develop and write treatment plans and prescriptions based on clinical findings
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care
• Document all patient interactions in EMR system in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide patient education on preventive health, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications

Qualifications:

• Active PA or NP license in Virginia (required)
• Experience with metabolic health, functional medicine, or preventive care preferred
• Phlebotomy certification or strong blood draw experience (required)
• DEA license for prescribing medications (required or obtainable)
• Strong understanding of hormone panels, inflammation markers, and nutritional labs
• Excellent clinical judgment, patient communication, and documentation skills
