Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Join the House Call MD's team as a full-time mobile Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and become a vital part of our mission! You'll be helping patients with wound care and dermatology in various settings like skilled nursing facilities, rehabs, and private homes.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for wound care and dermatology.
• Manage patients in skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals, rehabs, and private residences.
• Conduct various procedures including bedside debridement, biopsy, I&D, cryotherapy, and cauterization.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
• Communicate with physicians and specialists for coordinated patient care.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with facilities, home health agencies, and referral sources.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

• You must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• We prefer candidates with 2 years of prior patient care experience.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and facility staff.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner is the preferred qualification.
