About Us

Pride Health and Wellness is a new and rapidly growing medical clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, affirming, and compassionate healthcare to the LGBTQ+ community. We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about health equity and eager to help shape the future of our clinic. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the clinical culture of a practice built by and for the community.

The Role

As a Nurse Practitioner, you won’t just be seeing patients—you will be helping to support and build the community. You will provide comprehensive primary care with a specific focus on the unique needs of LGBTQ+ individuals, including gender-affirming care, sexual health, and preventative wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HIV Care & Prevention: Managing ART for patients living with HIV and providing robust PrEP and PEP counseling and prescriptions.
  • Sexual Health: Screening, diagnosis, and treatment of STIs.
  • Manage HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and gender-affirming treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Patient Advocacy: Navigating inclusive healthcare systems and providing a safe space for all identities.
  • Utilize EMR to maintain accurate, culturally sensitive patient records.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current Nevada APRN license
  • DEA: Valid DEA registration for prescribing privileges in Nevada.
  • Passion: A deep commitment to LGBTQ+ health and a "people-first" clinical approach.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in primary care is preferred, but we are open to passionate new graduates with strong clinical rotations in relevant fields.
  • The "Vibe": You are empathetic, collaborative, and deeply committed to the mission of health equity. You understand that for many of our patients, this is the first time they’ve felt safe in a doctor's office.

Why Join Us?

  • Growth Potential: Be a key player in a "ground-floor" opportunity as we expand our services.
  • Competitive Pay: Starting salary of $100k–$140k
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO.
  • Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday schedule (no nights or major holidays).
