Nurse Practitioner

Ruwani Gunawardane, MD ( Neurology ) one of the Faculty alumni from the University of Maryland is looking to employ a NP who is interested in Neurology.
Center for Brain and Neurocare in Maple Lawn, Fulton, close to Columbia, Maryland is a very progressive successful practice. Expect a clear understanding of the following attributes in the Nurse Practitioner :
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, under the supervision of the attending physician.
- Collaborate with the physician to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with chronic pain and neurologic issues.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by an accredited national certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Willing to learn, navigate and function with EMR-Positive attitude and a pleasant compassionate demeanor will be a plus We provide an excellent work package and benefits
Work hours are 8:30-5pm, M-T, with half an hour lunch break.
Fridays are 8:30-2pm. No weekends. No calls.
