Nurse Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise across various specialties, including acute care, primary care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. Experience with EMR/EHR systems. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care in diverse settings such as outpatient clinics and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across a wide age range, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions such as pain management, infectious disease care, geriatrics, and post-acute trauma. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory experience, medical imaging interpretation and sonography.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Practice Fusion while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and health coaching.
• Participate in telehealth consultations to extend access to care remotely.
• Maintain current knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards for accurate medical documentation and billing.

Experience

• Proven clinical experience in pain management, orthopedic, sports medicine experience preferred.
• Background in primary care settings such as outpatient clinics or medical offices with familiarity in internal medicine or family practice.
• Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory care), hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health issues, and post-acute care environments.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth efficiently for documentation and patient records management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
