Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced clinical judgment.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, injections (such as botulinum toxin), and procedural interventions like suturing or catheterization.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties such as gastroenterology, geriatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR systems like Epic or Cerner; order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics including nutrition, medication administration, wound care, and disease prevention strategies.
- Assist in procedures such as spinal taps, dermal fillers, IV infusions, sonography, or airway management within sterile environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and telehealth consultations to ensure seamless patient care continuity.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations; utilize CPT coding and ICD coding for billing purposes.
- Support infection control protocols and participate in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives aimed at elevating care standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms (Level I & II trauma centers), ICU or PICU environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth for documentation and order entry.
- Strong background in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine or occupational health.
- Prior work experience in outpatient clinics or medical offices with familiarity in CPT coding and ICD-10/ICD-9 coding practices.
- Hands-on experience performing procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheter care or gastrostomy tube feeding.
- Critical care experience including ventilator management and airway management techniques; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques like sonography or laboratory specimen collection/processing is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care centers while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.

Pay: $115,401.24 - $138,977.84 per year
