Nurse Practitioner – FNP | Outpatient Flexible Locum | $100/hr | Day Shift Only | No Call

An established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Oakland, California is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a locum tenens assignment (March–September) . This outpatient role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care to a predominantly adult, Spanish-speaking population in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Providers will manage routine primary care visits, chronic disease management, and preventive services with full MD, RN, and MA support. No call required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care

• Manage chronic conditions and preventive health

• See approximately 18–20 patients per day

• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active California NP license

• Board-certified FNP

• Prescriptive authority required

• 1–3 years primary care experience

• Spanish-speaking proficiency strongly preferred

Schedule & Compensation

• $50–$100 per hour

• Day shifts | No call

• March–September locum assignment

• On-site outpatient setting
